Conducting an appliance self-test

Your appliance has an appliance self-test which displays faults that can be eliminated by your customer service.

  1. Switch off the appliance.

  1. Switch the appliance back on after approx. five minutes.

  1. Within the first 10 seconds after switching on, press and hold (Freezer compartment) for 3 to 5 seconds until an audible signal sounds.

    • The appliance self-test starts.

    • While the appliance self-test is running, a long audible signal sounds.

    • If, at the end of the appliance self-test, two audible signals sound and the temperature display indicates the set temperature, your appliance is OK. The appliance switches to normal operation.

    • If, at the end of the appliance self-test, 5 audible signals sound and (Freezer compartment) flashes for 10 seconds, inform customer service.
