Super cooling cools the refrigerator compartment to make it as cold as possible. This cools food and drinks quickly through.
Switch on Super cooling before placing large quantities of food in the freezer compartment.
Note: When Super cooling is switched on, increased noise may occur.
Switching on Super cooling
- Press
(Refrigerator compartment).
- (Refrigerator compartment) lights up.
Note: After approx. 15 hours, the appliance switches to normal operation.
Switching off Super cooling
- Press (Refrigerator compartment).
The previously set temperature is displayed.
Automatic Super freezing automatically switches on when warm food is placed in the freezer.
With automatic Super freezing, the freezer compartment cools down to a much lower temperature than for normal mode. This freezes food quickly right through to the centre.
If the automatic Super freezing is switched on, (Freezer compartment) lights up and increased noises may occur.
After operation, the appliance switches from automatic Super freezing to normal operation.
Cancelling automatic Super freezing
- Press (Freezer compartment).
The previously set temperature is displayed.
Super freezing cools the freezer compartment as cold as possible. This freezes food quickly right through to the centre.
Switch on Super freezing four to six hours before placing food weighing 2 kg or more into the freezer compartment.
In order to utilise the freezer capacity, use Super freezing. Prerequisites for freezing capacity

Switching on manual Super freezing
- Press (Freezer compartment).
- (Freezer compartment) lights up.
Note: After approx. 60 hours, the appliance switches to normal operation.
Switching off manual Super freezing
- Press (Freezer compartment).
The previously set temperature is displayed.
If you are going to be away for a long time, you can switch on energy-saving holiday mode on the appliance.
CAUTION — Risk of harm to health!
- When the vacation mode is switched on, do not store any food in the refrigerator compartment.
The appliance automatically sets the temperatures.
